WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Rented template sites are slow and fiddly. A site written for you is fast and yours.
// THE PROBLEM
Most small business sites are a template with the owner's logo on it, rented from a platform that charges every month and loads slowly on a phone. Updating a price or a holiday notice means logging in to a page builder and hoping nothing else moves.
The alternative is a site written for the business: fast, readable on any screen, indexed properly by search engines, and owned outright, with the pieces the owner touches every week made simple.
// WHAT'S INCLUDED
A real design system, fast on any screen, readable by search engines, easy to hand off.
- A design system built for the business: type, color, spacing and components, so every page looks like it belongs.
- Responsive layouts that hold from a 360 pixel phone to a large desktop.
- Accessibility checked with automated scans and by keyboard: labels, contrast, headings in order, focus that is visible.
- Real pages, each with its own title, description and structured data, so search engines can read what you do and where.
- A contact or estimate form that emails you and keeps working if the email service has a hiccup.
- A short handoff guide and a design reference, so the next person can change it without guessing.
// HOW IT GOES
Talk, plan, build, review on your phone, then launch everything in one go.
A direct conversation first, then the structure of the pages, then the build, reviewed on your own phone as it takes shape. Hosting, DNS and business email are set up in the same pass if you want them, so launch day is one event and not four.
For businesses that want to change prices, hours, notices or reviews themselves, the site can ship with an owner dashboard. See Site + Owner Dashboard.
// FAQ
Questions people ask first.
Do I own the site?
Yes. It is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, delivered to you. There is no platform fee required to keep it running beyond hosting and your domain.
Will it show up on Google?
Every page ships with its own title, description, structured data and a sitemap, which is the groundwork. Ranking also depends on your market and your Google Business Profile, and nobody can promise a position.
Can I update it myself?
Text and pricing can be handled through an owner dashboard where it makes sense, or by sending changes over. Nothing about the code is hidden from you.
